My Eight Magical Makeup Tools

Hi divas, you are welcome to the month of September. I am so certain that you are going to be attending lots of parties as the year draws to a close so today am talking about those seven tools that I can't do without as i rock nd roll through the remainder of the year, and I think every lady should try and include them in their collection.

The Face Powder: We all know what the powder does to our faces when worn in the right shade. It covers the spots and discolouration to an extent, leaving the face looking very fresh and flawless.

The Brow Brush: This can either be like a mascara wand or a comb and brush in one stick which we are all familiar with. I can not do without this brush as small as it is, because just a brush leaves the brows looking intact and coordinated.

The Brow Pencil: I strongly feel everybody needs a brow pencil for proper outlining and precision of the brows. I am personally obsessed with my brows and I make sure they are precise. Always trace up and down when your brows are professionally groomed and fill in a little depending on how scanty the brows are, then brush into place with the brush.

The Mascara: This does magic to the eye lashes, there are some mascaras that add volume, some add length while some do both. When you coat your lashes twice or thrice depending on how good the mascara is, it emphasises the lashes and transforms the whole of your eyes.

The Eye Liner: This also does a great job of bringing attention to the eyes when worn the right way. Liners come in different colours, the white and other bright colours widen the eye while the dark colours can be used to create your desired effects.

The Blush: Although dark-skinned people do not blush but we might be missing out a lot if we do not use the blush. They come in different colours so we can do the dark reds, wines and browns. Although anything goes in this time of colour blocking, but we should still endeavour to do things the right way. It raises the cheek bones giving the right structure to the face and brightens up the face. Do not leave the house without applying the blush.

The Lip Gloss: This can be worn alone or on the lip stick. It just lubricates the lips and gives a sexy outlook when worn in the right proportion. They also come in different colours which are called lip polish and some are called emulsion which are used to achieve the reigning MATT lips, while the clear or transparent ones are glosses or glasses.

Hot Pink or Hot Red Lipsticks: These two colours are working wonders now as we all know how wonderfully the colours can just transform the whole face, with a hot red lipstick you can switch between the classic and urban looks while the pink when worn mildly with a gloss can pass for day and when worn heavily with or without gloss will just pass for a dramatic or night look.

Now that you know the importance of these makeup tools, you should add them to your collections and remember that your brows frame your face, so endeavour to have them done professionally.

Look good and have fun as you enjoy the various grooves that are abound towards the end of the year

Look beautiful always!

The Different Skin Types

It is another beautiful day and i hope you have been doing great.
Am here again to enlighten you on the different skin types.

There are basically five skin types which are:

Normal skin: This skin type needs no extra care, it doesn't produce much oil, it's nt flaky, produces no pimples or acne, it's nt just problematic in any way, it looks healthy and supple with just normal treatment.

Oily skin: This skin type may produce excess oil on the fore head, nose, and chin regions, the pores are larger and may be more pronounced and it certainly needs extra care. This is a problematic skin type as everything you use has to be labelled for oily skin, it doesn't age quickly though but serious attention needs to be paid to it.

Dry skin: This may have tightened or fine pores, flakes, may feel very dry and produce little or no oil at all. It needs constant moisturising and people with dry skin are advised to use products that are labelled for dry skin

Combination skin: People with this skin type produce oil at the forehead, nose and chin regions and little or no oil at all at the remaining parts of the face. This is the most common skin type and it is less problematic

Sensitive skin: This is a highly problematic skin type. It can be identified by frequent redness, pimples and acne, it reacts to almost everything and people with this skin type should go mild on every skin care product they use, make sure they get the ones that are labelled for sensitive skin and pay more attention to their skin.

I hope after reading this post you will be able to identify your skin type and get the suitable products for it.

Remember to wash off your makeup every night before you sleep, else you put your skin at the risk of breaking out.

Look beautiful always!!!
